- Inequality -adjusted human development index:
According to the report of 2010 HDR , the IHDI is the actual level of Human Development that that is unadjusted the calculation for which that can be viewed as an index of potential human development the maximum IHDI I that could be achieved if there were no inequality.
The IHDI combines average achievements in health, education and income of a country’s and how those achievements are distributed among those country’s populating by “discounting” each dimension’s average value according to its level of inequality.the IHDI is an average level of distribution-sensitive of human development. When Two countries with different distributions of achievements can have the same average of HDI value. the IHDI is equal to the HDI when it is ,Under perfect equality . but it falls below the HDI when it rises its inequality .
The actual difference between the IHDI and HDI is the cost of inequality of the ,human development which also termed as the overall loss to human development due to its inequality. The IHDI allows a direct link to inequalities in dimensions, it can inform to the policies towards the inequality reduction, and it leads to the better understanding of inequalities across the population and their contribution to the overall human development cost.
A recent measure of inequality in the HDI,is the Coefficient of human inequality, which is calculated as an unweighted average of its inequality across three dimensions.
The IHDI equals the HDI when there is no
inequality across people but falls below the HDI as inequality
rises. In this sense the IHDI measures the level of human development when inequality is accounted for. - Gender development index:
Gender Development Index is an index designed to measure the equality of gender.
GDI together with the Gender of Empowerment Measure were introduced in 1995 in the Human Development Report which is written by the United Nations Development Program. The aim of these measurements was to add a gender-sensitive dimension to the Human Development Index .
The first measurement that they created as a result was the Gender-related Development Index .it Measures difference between male and female achievement in three basic dimensions of human development health measured by female and male life expectancy at birth education measured by female and male expected year of schooling for children and female and male mean year of schooling for adults aged 25 and older and equitable command over economic resources measured by female and male estimated earned income.
To calculate the GDI we should calculate the HDI separately for females and for males by using the same method as in the HDI.the same goalposts as in the HDI are used for transforming the indicators into a scale between zero and one.the only expectation is life expectancy at birth where calculation of average of 5 years are adjusted for biological advantage that women have over men.
The GDI provides insights into gender which disparities in achievement in three basic capabilities:health, education and command over the economic resource. In help in understanding the further real gender gap in human development achievement and is useful for navigation policies to close the gap. - Gender inequality index:

The Gender Inequality Index is an index for measurement of gender disparity that was introduced in the 2010 by Human Development Report in its 20th anniversary edition by the United Nations Development Programme .
The inequality of gender remains a major barrier to human development. Women’s and girls have made major strides since 1990,but they didn’t yet gained gender equity.womens and girls are facing major disadvantage are source of inequality.
All too often, women’s and girls are discriminated against in health, education, political representation, labour markets ,etc.with negative repercussions for development of their capabilities and their freedom of choice.
According to the UNDP, this index is a composite measure to quantify the loss of achievement within a country due to gender inequality.the empowerment, measured by proportion of parliamentary seats which occupied by females and proportion of adult females and males aged 25 years and older with at least some secondary education and economic status, which is Expressed as labour market participation rate of female and Male populations aged 15 years and older.
The GII and IHDI built on the same framework as the IHDI to better expose differences in the distribution of achievements between women and men.
It measure the cost of gender inequality of human development. Higher the gii value the more disparities between females and males and the more loss to human development. There is no country with perfect gender equality .all countries suffer some loss in their achievements in key in aspects of human development .when the GII is similar in method to the IHDI when the gender inequality is taken into account.

- Good country index:
Good country Index measures what each country contributes to the common good of humanity and to the planet.
Idea of the good country index is very simple to measure what each country on the earth contributes to the common good of humanity and what it takes off a is relatively to its size.
Using a very large range of data the UN and other international organisations GCI gives which country a balance sheet to show at a glance whether it is net creditor to mankind a burden on the planet or something in between them.
GCI do not make any moral judgement about countries. What it is meat good country is something much simpler it is a country that contributes good of humanity is a country that surveys the interest of its own people but without having any farming and preferable by advancing the interest of the people in other countries to. It is the project of one of the series that is Simon aanholt and his friends are launching to start a global debate about what really for. do exist purely to serve the interests of their own politicians business and citizens are they actively working for all of humanity and the whole planet .
