Through this agreement, the surface of Jharia coal area and coal fire and land avoidance (Land subsidence) Will be studied with satellite-based and other technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Technical Details: Thermal Infrared (TIR), Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) Data and SAR (Synthetic APERTURE RADAR) will be used. Duration: This project has to be implemented between the financial year 2025-27. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Importance: Jharia area has long been facing coal-fire and displacement-land risk. This study will contribute to improve the security of safe mining, environmental management and residents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
