यह पद नागेश कपूर को मिला है वह दिसंबर 1986 में वायु सेवा की फ्लाइंग ब्रांच में कमीशन हुए थे उन्हें फाइटर और ट्रेनर विमान को उड़ाने का व्यापक अनुभव है इससे पहले भी साउथ वेस्टर्न एयर कमांड के एयर ऑफिसर कमांडिंग इन चीफ भी रह चुके हैं
