अल्बर्ट एक्का भारत पाकिस्तान के 1971 में हो रहे युद्ध में वीरगति प्राप्त हुए थे इन्हें मरणोपरांत परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया था।
इनका जन्म 27 दिसंबर 1942 को झारखंड के गुमला जिले में हुआ था इन्होंने अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा सीसी स्कूल पत्र टोली से की थी अल्बर्ट को शुरू से ही भारतीय सेवा में जाने की इच्छा थी जो की दिसंबर 1962 को पूरी हुई, इन्होंने सेवा में बिहार रेजीमेंट में अपना कार्य शुरू किया बाद में जब 14 गार्डों का गठन हुआ तब अल्बर्ट अपने कुछ साथियों के साथ वहां स्थानांतरित कर दिए गए। अच्छे योद्धा होने के साथ-साथ यह एक अच्छे हॉकी के खिलाड़ी भी थे।

Albert Ekka attained martyrdom during the India–Pakistan war of 1971. He was posthumously honored with the Param Vir Chakra. He was born on 27 December 1942 in the Gumla district of Jharkhand. He completed his early education at CC School, Patra Toli. From the beginning, Albert had a desire to join the Indian services, which was fulfilled in December 1962. He began his service in the Bihar Regiment, and later, when the 14 Guards unit was formed, Albert, along with some of his companions, was transferred there. Along with being a brave warrior, he was also an excellent hockey player.”
